At the end of the 2007-2008 school year, CCAE dispersed thousands of curriculum materials and unique arts education resources to teachers in this area, and helped to establish art resource centers at six different school sites in Sacramento and Yolo Counties. A newly developed series of lesson packets, including an extensive collection of art resources, will serve more than 62 after-school sites throughout Sacramento. We also presented an extensive professional development library to the CSUS College of Education and the Academy of Art University Library as well as resources to the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission Art in Public Places Program and the Crocker Art Museum Docent Program. By undertaking these efforts, we feel confident that CCAE and your support will have a lasting impact on the efforts to improve education through the arts.
The last version of the CCAE searchable database remains available for visitors to the CCAE website. We hope that it will serve as a valuable reference for teachers searching for appropriate resources for their classroom use.
