Consultancies are workshops or professional development services developed by CCAE to address site-specific needs for school districts, schools and / or museums. Participants learn-by-doing in an energetic, discovery-oriented, confidence-building environment that connects sound practices to successful classroom teaching. CCAE can develop programs to meet up to 40 hours per NCLB requirements.
I learned how
we can integrate art into our other curricula and still
teach to the standards.
2nd Grade Teacher, Lodi Unified School District
I enjoyed the inquiry-based instruction
– learning through exploration.
High School Art Teacher, Roseville Joint Union High
School District
I learned to really see art when
I look at it, instead of just glancing at it. This helped
me to look at what the artist is saying in his/her artwork,
and looking at how much work must go into it.
High School Student, San Juan Unified School District
