The CCAE Journal, published twice per year, features current arts education issues and showcases teaching practice from the field, along with curricula reviews, web site listings, etc. Each issue includes an art-based preview lesson plan, with background information on the artist and artwork.
Past issues have focused on authentic connections between the arts and other content areas (one issue each on History – Social Science, Language Arts (writing), Science and Math), assessment, multi-cultural resources, etc. Upcoming issues will feature teaching from art in public places.
