- Consultancies are workshops or professional development services developed by CCAE to address site-specific needs for school districts, schools and/or museums.
Resources: Support Services
- The CCAE Art Resource Center contains the most extensive collection – over 2,000 items! – of published curriculum and art resources available in this region. Materials are available to subscribers on loan; some unique materials are for on-site reference use only. Subscribers have access to ongoing consultation services.
- The CCAE Portfolio includes CCAE-produced high quality art prints and transparencies correlated with classroom-ready lesson plan packets. The portfolio, published by CCAE with support from generous sponsors, has been developed in partnership with area museums and artists. The packages spotlight significant artists and artworks across time, culture and media.
- The CCAE Journal, published twice per year, features current arts education issues and showcases successful teaching practice from the field, along with curricula reviews, web site listings, an art-based preview lesson plan, etc.
